A Japanese song from the 60’s. It’s actually entitled “Ue o multe aruko” (I Shall Walk Looking up) but they gave it the name it after the food for the commerical reasons. It’s kind of stupid actually, its like retitling an English song like “Shake Ya Tailfeather” to “Beef Stew” in English. The cover version that became popular by A Taste of Honey and most recently 4 P.M. rewrites the lyrics but has the same song title. Still good songs but the original will always be the best.
