Hero by Darren Hayes

If you guys don’t know who Darren Hayes, he’s the lead singer of a little group known as Savage Garden. They are one of my favorite musical acts of all time but you don’t really hear about Darren Hayes in the United States. Which sucks, his music is really good. Way better than the bubble gum pop crap they play on KIIS. This song is on his second solo album called “The Tension and the Spark” which wasn’t sold in the states. Hero was not a single but lucky for me this guy felt it should have been, so he made a video. Enjoy!

You Shook Me All Night Long by AC/DC

Too tired to write anything substantial. It’s too hot.

On another note, I finally got this album over the weekend. It took me forever to find out who sung this song. I mean it I heard it a couple of times. I thought it was Aerosmith or something. I kept googling, “she’ll be all right now”. Ahh, misheard lyrics, damn. I don’t know every song, but it feels so good when I finally found a song I heard.

Now I just have 1 song left. I heard this song way back in the days on 94.9. I don’t remember any of the lyrics but it had a rocking guitar beat and the singer seemed European. Now, if I ever find that song, I would really be happy.

This song I’m starting to listen on repeat. Pure rock ‘n’ roll. Who would of thought AC/DC was from Australia.

Lost Without You by Delta Goodrem

In about 8 hours I’ll be visiting a friend. This will be my first real vacation in nearly 4 years. I think I’m looking forward to it, but don’t worry I’ll still update my site for you faithful fans (ie my sister Lisa). Anyway, this friend is pretty cool, she sent me this song a couple of months ago that she told me it was her favorite song. Being naturally curious, I looked up Delta Goodrem and found out she was Australian. I’ve never heard of her, the only other Australian act I really know is Savage Garden (a personal favorite of mine). Reading into her biography, I found out that she’s a cancer survivor at age 18. She underwent chemotherapy and as a result lost her hair. It’s inspiring that she regularly visits sick children in hospital and does philanthrophy work. It’s too bad thought that she didn’t have the same success in the USA as she did in the UK and Australia. This song is pretty good. She’s gorgeous, with or without hair.
